Schwielochsee – Bootsangelgebiet Gesamtsee
Der Schwielochsee ist mit Motorbooten befahrbar und bietet über 20 Fischarten. Besonders das Angeln vom Boot aus ist auf dem 1.330 ha großen und bis zu 14 m tiefen See lohnend.
Schwielochsee – Flachwasserzone (Karpfen & Weißfisch)
Der Schwielochsee gilt als flach und nährstoffreich – ideal für Karpfen. Die Angelkarte ist zwingend erforderlich und kann online erworben werden.
Schwielochsee Süd – Schilfgürtel (Hecht & Barsch)
Die breiten Schilfgürtel im südlichen Teil des Schwielochsees lohnen sich, systematisch mit Kunstködern auf Hecht und Barsch abzusuchen. Besonders im Sommer und Herbst stehen Räuber an den Schilfkanten. Wobbler, Gummifische und Spinner sind erfahrungsgemäß erfolgreich.

History & character.
Character
Der Schwielochsee bei Goyatz ist ein großer Flachsee mit einer Fläche von 7,8 km². Sein sanft gewelltes Ufer wird überwiegend von Kiefernwäldern gesäumt. Der See ist für seine reichen Aalbestände und kapitalen Karpfen bekannt und bietet mit seinem natürlichen Charakter ein ruhiges Angelerlebnis abseits des Trubels.
Water structure
Als typischer Flachsee mit maximal 8 m Tiefe bietet der Schwielochsee gleichmäßig strukturiertes Terrain. Der Grund wechselt zwischen Sand und Schlick. Ausgedehnte Seerosenfelder und Schilfgürtel säumen die Ufer, besonders am Nord- und Ostufer. Unterwasser-Barschberge im zentralen Bereich sind bei Raubfischanglern beliebt.
Nature & history
Der Name leitet sich vom slawischen Wort für „Ort der Wildenten“ ab – und tatsächlich ist der See ein bedeutendes Brutgebiet für Wasservögel. Teile des Ufers gehören zum Naturpark Schlaubetal. Der See entwässert über den Schwielochsee-Kanal in die Spree und war einst Teil eines wichtigen Binnenschifffahrtswegs.
