Mittelgroßer, ruhiger See mit klarem Wasser und ausgedehnten Schilfgürteln am Nord- und Westufer; klassischer Familien- und Posenangler-See.
Water structure
50 ha Fläche, max. 12 m, Ø 5 m. Sandige Flachzonen rund um das Strandbad, Schilfgürtel an der Nord- und Ostseite, einzelne Tiefenlöcher in der Mitte.
Nature & history
Eingebettet ins Wünsdorfer Seenkette zwischen Kleinem und Großem See; früher militärisches Sperrgebiet (sowjetische Garnison Wünsdorf bis 1994), seitdem freier öffentlicher Zugang.

Spring
Water temperature rises slowly. Perch move into shallow bays, pike finish spawning. Best time: from mid-April along weed edges.
Summer
Warm and nutrient-rich. Predators bite early morning or evening. Night fishing for eel and catfish is most productive now.
Autumn
Pike and zander feed up for winter. Large soft swimbaits & a slow presentation get the big ones now.
Winter
Cold and clear. Target species in deeper troughs. Vertical jigging from the boat or a bottom rig at dusk give the best chances.
