Character
Langgestreckter, flacher See südlich von Berlin mit ausgedehnten Schilfgürteln und mehreren Krautbänken in der Mitte – ein typischer brandenburgischer Niederungssee.
Water structure
270 ha Fläche, durchschnittlich 10 m, max. 14 m tief; Sohle weich-schlammig, sandige Flachzonen am Süd- und Ostufer, dichte Schilfgürtel rund um den See.
Nature & history
Eiszeitliche Senke, Anschluss zum Nottekanal Richtung Königs Wusterhausen. Im 19. und 20. Jh. wirtschaftliche Bedeutung durch Fischerei und die Garnison Zossen.

Cold and clear. Target species in deeper troughs. Vertical jigging from the boat or a bottom rig at dusk give the best chances.
