Character
Der Sacrower See liegt im Norden Potsdams zwischen den Ortsteilen Sacrow und Groß Glienicke und ist mit ca. 107 ha und einer maximalen Tiefe von rund 37 m ein klassischer Klarwasser-Tiefensee. Die Lage im Naturschutzgebiet und die strengen Vereinsregeln sorgen für einen außergewöhnlich gesunden Fischbestand.
Water structure
Lang gestreckter Rinnensee (2,8 km Länge) mit steilen Uferböschungen. Die mittige Tiefenrinne fällt auf bis zu 37 m ab. Klares, sauerstoffreiches Wasser mit Maränen-Bestand – ähnlich wie am Schermützelsee. Schilf- und Seerosenzonen am Süd- und Nordende.
Nature & history
Bewirtschafter ist der Sportanglerverein „Hechtsprung" Sacrow. Der See gilt unter Mitgliedern als „Top-Gewässer" – sehr wenig befischter Bestand. Schleppfischen und Nachtangeln sind untersagt, was den See zur Ausnahme im Berlin-Potsdamer Raum macht. Direkt am Westufer liegt die Schlosskirche Sacrow.

Spring
Water temperature rises slowly. Perch move into shallow bays, pike finish spawning. Best time: from mid-April along weed edges.
Summer
Warm and nutrient-rich. Predators bite early morning or evening. Night fishing for eel and catfish is most productive now.
Autumn
Pike and zander feed up for winter. Large soft swimbaits & a slow presentation get the big ones now.
Winter
Cold and clear. Target species in deeper troughs. Vertical jigging from the boat or a bottom rig at dusk give the best chances.
