Sehr lang gestreckter, schmaler Klarwassersee mit drei Becken zwischen Templin und Hammelspring; Naturschutz-betont, motorenfrei.
Water structure
450 ha Fläche, max. 14 m, Ø 6 m. Klares Wasser (Sicht 4–7 m), sandige Flachzonen am West- und Südufer, Schilfgürtel an den Engstellen, sanft abfallende Tiefenkanten.

Glaziale Rinne im Naturpark Uckermärkische Seen. Bewirtschaftung durch Uckermark-Fisch GmbH und Kreisanglerverband Uckermark-Templin (KAV).

Water temperature rises slowly. Perch move into shallow bays, pike finish spawning. Best time: from mid-April along weed edges.
Summer
Warm and nutrient-rich. Predators bite early morning or evening. Night fishing for eel and catfish is most productive now.
Autumn
Pike and zander feed up for winter. Large soft swimbaits & a slow presentation get the big ones now.
Winter
Cold and clear. Target species in deeper troughs. Vertical jigging from the boat or a bottom rig at dusk give the best chances.
