Nordufer am Ende des Roofensee-Tracks (Hauptzugang von Menz). Sandige Steilkante mit Krautrand — klassischer Barsch- und Plötzen-Spot, abends Aal an der Krautkante.

Character

Tiefer Klarwassersee zwischen Menz und Neuglobsow, eingebettet im Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land; sehr klares Wasser, ruhige Lage.

Water structure

140 ha Fläche, max. 22 m, Ø 9 m. Sandig-kiesige Sohle, klare Sicht 5–8 m, ausgedehnte Schilfzone am Westufer, Steilkanten zur Mitte.

Nature & history

Glaziale Rinne im Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land. Bewirtschaftung durch Familie Böttcher in Neuglobsow seit über 50 Jahren; NaturParkHaus Menz auch Verkaufsstelle.
