Character
Der Wolziger See liegt südöstlich von Berlin im Dahme-Seengebiet und besticht durch sein ruhiges, naturbelassenes Ambiente. Mit 1,9 km² ist er ein überschaubarer See, der sich besonders für Angler eignet, die Ruhe und intakte Natur suchen. Der See ist über die Dahme mit dem Umland verbunden.
Water structure
Ein relativ flacher See (max. 6 m) mit gleichmäßigem Profil. Der Untergrund ist überwiegend sandig mit eingelagerten Schlickbereichen. Schilfgürtel säumen weite Teile des Ufers und schaffen optimale Raubfisch-Reviere. Im nördlichen Teil finden sich Krautfelder, die besonders im Sommer als Deckung für Futterfische dienen.
Nature & history
Der Wolziger See ist ein Überbleibsel der Weichseleiszeit und Teil der Brandenburger Seenplatte. Er liegt im Naturpark Dahme-Heideseen und ist von ausgedehnten Kiefernwäldern umgeben. Die geringen Besucherzahlen haben die natürliche Ufervegetation weitgehend erhalten – ein Paradies für Eisvögel und Fischotter.

Summer
Warm and nutrient-rich. Predators bite early morning or evening. Night fishing for eel and catfish is most productive now.
Autumn
Pike and zander feed up for winter. Large soft swimbaits & a slow presentation get the big ones now.
Winter
Cold and clear. Target species in deeper troughs. Vertical jigging from the boat or a bottom rig at dusk give the best chances.
