Character
Das Tegeler Fließ ist ein 30,4 km langer Bach, der bei Basdorf in Brandenburg entspringt und nach 9,9 km Berliner Stadtgebiet im Tegeler See mündet. Es ist einer der letzten naturnahen Wasserläufe Berlins und durchzieht das großflächige Naturschutzgebiet Tegeler Fließtal mit Erlenbruch- und Niederungswäldern.
Water structure
Schmaler, gewundener Bach mit 2–4 m Breite, bis zu 1,5 m tief, kiesig-sandiger Grund. Stark beschattet durch Erlen und Weiden. Mehrere künstliche Wehre und Mühlteiche im Stadtbereich, etwa der Hermsdorfer Mühlenteich.
Nature & history
Das Fließtal ist FFH- und Vogelschutzgebiet mit europäischer Bedeutung. Seit dem Mittelalter wurden hier Wassermühlen betrieben (Hermsdorf, Lübars). Die Gewässerqualität hat sich seit den 1990ern stark verbessert, eine Wiederansiedlung von Bachforellen wurde mehrfach diskutiert.

Water temperature rises slowly. Perch move into shallow bays, pike finish spawning. Best time: from mid-April along weed edges.
Summer
Warm and nutrient-rich. Predators bite early morning or evening. Night fishing for eel and catfish is most productive now.
Autumn
Pike and zander feed up for winter. Large soft swimbaits & a slow presentation get the big ones now.
Winter
Cold and clear. Target species in deeper troughs. Vertical jigging from the boat or a bottom rig at dusk give the best chances.
