History & character.

Character

Stadtbach mit hohem Naturschutzwert, fließt durch das NSG Erpetal von Altlandsberg über Hoppegarten nach Berlin-Köpenick.

Water structure

27 km Länge, 3–8 m breit, max. 2 m tief, Ø 50 cm. Sandig-schlammige Sohle, viele Mäander, dichter Ufersaum, mehrere Mühlenstaue.

Nature & history

Historischer Mühlenbach (Altlandsberger Mühle 13. Jh.); seit 1989 Renaturierungsobjekt des NABU Neuenhagen. Wasserbüffel-Beweidung im NSG Erpetal seit 2010.
