Water profile
The Landwehrkanal is the urban angling water of central Berlin. Its continuous sheet piling gives perch and zander ideal edge habitat, and the Urbanhafen concentrates prey fish and therefore predators. After the evening boat traffic the canal turns into a surprisingly productive water. Chub and roach are present year-round by day, eel makes the night special.
